As our summer litters are approaching, keep in mind that summer/early fall can be an excellent time to bring a new puppy home! These lazy summer days can be used to get a pup aquained with all of the fun life has to offer. (i.e. potty training, basic obedience, family bonding, and don't forget lots of fun!!!!) A pup brought home during this period of time will probably not be ready for an all out intesive hunting season, but that does not mean it wont be a season of new experiences, learning, fun, and lots of laughs! Here at the kennel, we will be having some expceptional litters during this time period, so check back often for updates. So as the hazy days of summer come along, relax, enjoy life, and dream of all the Ducks and Pheasants to be pursued in the days to come!!

CP Loan Oak's Dapper Dan Man SH
Danny is a talented black pointing lab male of 70 lbs with a muscular body and blocky head. Dan’s father is NFC FC Maxx’s Surprise and his grandfather is NAFC FC AFC Ebonstar Lean Mac. Dan’s mother is a Master Hunter from English bloodlines that gives Danny a great balance of enthusiasm and controllability. Dan has a classic upland hunting gait and his outstanding nose leads him into a staunch and stylish point. Dan has the whole package of hunting and retrieving intensity with a quiet, pleasing and affectionate manner. Jill is a black female and the daughter of APLA Grand Master Pointer Retriever Cashzingers Cattail Corky and CP Huntemup's Aint She Purdey. Jill is a muscular sleek looking dog of approx. 65 lbs and she is of traditional lab conformation. Jill is one of our younger dogs and shows excellent tempermant both in the filed and out of it. Magic is a hard-hunting, staunch-pointing, bird-finding machine that just keeps going. Magic is an outstanding retriever on land or water. She is a happy, enthusiastic dog that loves hunting and people, especially children. The pups from this litter will be black and yellow. This is the repeat of a very successful breeding. The pups from this litter will be black and yellow and is due the Second week of June 2008.
These puppies are here and are currently four weeks old! They are currently going through HPK's jump start program. Currently (6-27-08) we have three males avalible to choose from. (females have been spoken for) Please keep in mind that these dogs, be they male or female will be excellent dogs in the field, and laid back when "off duty." Golden Nugget Nugget is a multi-talented “off-white” yellow male of 82 lbs and standing 24” at the shoulder. Nugget was one of only two dogs to successfully participate in three testing levels in the same day. At 18 months of age Nugget earned his APLA certified Pointer, Intermediate Pointer Retriever, and Master Pointer Retriever titles, all in the same day! Nugget is an intense and relentless upland bird hunter with a stylish point. Nugget is equally proficient in the dove field or duck blind, aided by his amazing marking ability. Nugget shares his father, Brock MH, with TWO APLA Grandmaster Pointer Retrievers and FIVE APLA Certified Pointers. At home or in the field, Nugget has a pleasing disposition and is very affectionate. Lady is a muscular 62 lb. blocky, “red” yellow female. Lady holds the title of APLA Certified Pointer and is the daughter of APLA Grand Master Pointer Retriever and AKC Master Hunter Corky and APLA Certified Pointer Pepper. Lady is a very light-footed hunter that glides in the field. Lady is a hard hunter with a natural quarter and a stylish point. Lady has anb excellent nose and is an amazing marker and retriever on land or water. Lady is also a loving companion that demands affection when not working.

Jack is an affectionate, muscular, thick boned, blocky chocolate male of 80 lbs. Jack holds the titles of APLA Certified Pointer, Intermediate Pointer Retriever, Master Pointer Retriever, Grand Master Pointer Retriever and AKC Senior Hunter. Jack hails from the very roots of pointing labs descending from Kellogg and Swanson bloodlines. Jack is a hard-working upland hunter with an excellent nose, often finding and pointing birds other dogs have passed by. Jack loves the water, and the challenge of waterfowl retrieving in the coldest of weather. Jack has answered the pointing lab critics by distinguishing himself in both the APLA and the AKC testing venues. Ellie is an outstanding duck and upland dog. She has logged many hours as a working pointing lab on a hunting preserve and has hundreds of bagged birds to her credit. In the field she is a persistent worker with a natural quarter and a solid point. Ellie is amateur trained and extremely co-operative and affectionate. She is a chocolate factored black female, which means this litter can be all three colors. Ellie follows in the footsteps of her Father GMPR Cashzingers Cattail Corky and her Grand Sire GMPR Ricks Risky Raider MH.
