HPK and R&R Pheasant Hunting

In the early part of 2002 HPK had the opportunity to begin providing hunting dogs to R&R Pheasant Hunting.  R&R is a full service Pheasant huting lodge centrally located in Seneca SD.  It is an integral part of an 18,000 acre family-owned farming and ranching operation. Their land consists of thousands of acres of native grass pasture, crops, mature shelter belts and well-managed CRP. Each year they reserve 6000 acres of our prime cropland strictly for wild pheasant and other upland bird/small varmint hunting. They are proud to be one of only a few Certified Cabela's Hunting Destinations in the world.

The Hunters Point Kennel Dogs go up to R&R around the first of September and hunt with clients until sometime in late March.  By working for R&R, our dogs have thousands of birds shot over them, enhancing their hunting skills and getting them around hundreds of cutsomers every year.  This type of work also keeps their skills sharp, and keeps them healthy, happy, and ... Hunting.
